HOW WE WORK

  • We seek to understand the situations and policies that contribute to poverty. We listen to those with lived experience as well as policy makers and community partners who address the root causes of poverty.

  • We advocate for policy changes that will improve the conditions that create poverty. We advocate for policies that will ensure all our neighbors have the means to provide a safe and stable life for themselves and their families.

  • We collaborate with governmental agencies and non-profits who commit to alleviating poverty in our region. We use our collective voice as we advocate for policy changes.

  • We encourage members of our congregations to volunteer and give support to organizations that provide services to families, help individuals and families with the basic necessities, and support them in their transition from houselessness to a stable and safe living situation.
