This team creates the newsletter every other month. It also creates the announcements for the First Thursday informational meeting every month. We work with the action teams to make their work known to our members and partners. Communications works to keep the website up-to-date.
How you can help us:
The communication team welcomes suggestions from you for Guest Essayists for the newsletter, on information about the work of our partners and on legislative initiatives that will help alleviate policies that keep people in poverty. We also seek information from the Action Teams about their focus and their work.
In all of this action, we rely on the expertise, design eye and hard work of our administrative assistant, Amanda Larriva.

The coordinators committee also seeks suggestions for First Thursday speakers to help us understand the causes and possible work to overcome obstacles to equality. The committee seeks ideas and the voices of partners in the work. The committee coordinates our work with those partners.
